University of Arkansas 2025 HRD Summit Speaker Rachel Jessen

Rachel Jessen brings over 25 years of experience developing professional and personal competencies across diverse industries and global settings.  In her current role as an HR PMO Change Management, Communications, and Continuous Improvement Specialist at Tyson Foods, she supports global HR team members in driving impactful change initiatives. 

Rachel is deeply engaged in the HR community, serving as the 2025 Arkansas SHRM Diversity Director and holding leadership roles with NOARK, the Northwest Arkansas SHRM chapter. She earned her M.Ed. in Human Resource and Workforce Development from the University of Arkansas in 2022 and achieved SHRM-CP and aPHR certifications in 2023. Additionally, she is a Change Management Specialist (CMS) and holds a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace certification from the University of South Florida. 

With a background in adult learning development, training, and instructional design, Rachel is passionate about building effective learning programs and fostering successful change management strategies. She previously spent several years in Central Asia leading community initiatives for a multinational organization and later spearheaded a thriving community business development program for a national retailer. Her experience as a development consultant spans industries, from multi-site management companies to education-focused non-profits. Rachel’s mission is to empower individuals and create culturally intelligent, people-centered employee experiences through strategic change management, training, and learning development.
