The second annual HRD Summit, “Connect ’24,” was 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the University of Arkansas. This event waS being offered both in-person and virtually (via MS Teams). Please check back for details on the 2025 program.

The annual Human Resource Development Summit is a U of A student-led event offering cutting-edge content on HRD trends and activities. The program provides opportunities for students and alums to connect with each other and with other HRD professionals. This one-day event features a keynote speaker, an interactive workshop on Integrating AI in Learning & Development, doctoral student poster sessions, a World Café event on Managing Change from an Appreciative Inquiry Lens, and multiple breakout sessions on topics including Performance-Based Instructional Design, use of Data in HR, Remote and Hybrid Work, and Utilizing Tech & Digital Resources. Breakfast and lunch are provided to in-person attendees.

The conference is free. It will be held at the Graduate Education (GRAD) Building — 751 W. Maple Ave., Fayetteville — and live streamed. Up to 120 registrants will be accepted.
