Title of Session:  “The Death of HR and how Data will Lead to its Resurrection”

Summary: Why do we need data? How do we change from a Reactive to a Proactive function? How do we leverage it? How do we get buy in from our business partners? How does this change the perception of current demand of what employers are looking for out of their HR employees?

Learning Objective: Practitioners will be able to determine how to use data to leverage relationships with business partners.

Brennen Glover is a Richmond, VA native and a graduate of the College of William and Mary in  Williamsburg, VA where he was a member of the Tribe football team.  He has been in Arkansas for the past year after relocating with his new wife Kerayl from the Charlotte Metro area. Previous to Charlotte he has made stops in Richmond, VA, Roanoke, VA and in the Washington D.C. area. Before relocating to Arkansas to work within the Talent Acquisition space for Tyson Foods he has previously worked in a multitude of HR functions in his 11+ year career for companies such as Capital One, Google, and Meta.

Recently Mr. Glover has joined the leadership team within the HR Advisory: HR People Operations Space at Tyson Foods. His team is responsible for being the first point of contact for all Tyson Team Members and Tyson Business Partners to complete any transaction within the HR space. Throughout his career he has specialized in using data analytics to help various companies not only save money, but switch to a proactive HR approach to forecast the future needs of the function while transforming how HR is perceived in the modern world.

Outside of his professional career Brennen loves to coach youth football and spend as much time as possible with family, friends, and his dog Huey.
